Yes, that’s right, it’s time to have fun and why not? You deserve it. Even though I am a big believer in having fun while doing physical activity, I also believe it’s important to take fun breaks, too!
Our bodies can get very tired if you don’t learn to take time out even if it is just for a short moment. Here are a few ideas, that I like to use and you may as well.
- Create goals for having little breaks away from your environment. If you can, try to commit to having quarterly breaks in the year. Even if they are just short days trips. By doing this you will always have something to look forward to, and mini-breaks are more affordable than big vacations.
- While on these short breaks, don’t do your usual physical activities. Instead, why not explore the area you have visited and go by foot?
- Relax. Take time out on your short breaks to have a well deserved rest. Sleep during the day if need be, read a book or try meditating.
In the Fitness for All blog this week, I’ll tell you about how I charged my batteries during my most recent trip!
