When moving your body outside, keep the following things in mind to move safely and protect yourself from the elements.
Hats & Glasses If the sun is out, wear UV sunglasses and a hat with at least a front peak to protect your face (something with a back brim to protect the neck is also important).
Clothing Your body should be comfortable. Wear breathable clothing that’s not too tight. Consider elastic or belt-tight shorts so that your pants won’t fall down (funny as it may sound, it has happened).
Products Just as your clothes should be breathable, so should your skin be. Don’t put anything on your skin that can clog your pores and impede sweating, your body’s natural cooling mechanism. Sun screen is important, but read products’ labels to ensure they don’t contain clogging agents. For more info on what to watch for, please email me.
