Jon Robison advises that to ease concerns about your weight and improve your health, you should move more:
“If you are relatively sedentary, consider finding ways to move your body that feel good to you.”
This week, move your body one more time a day than you did the week before. Each week, try to add one more “piece” of movement.
Note: this doesn’t mean, shake your hand and call it a day - nor does it mean, add a 30 minute cardio routine to your day. It means you should add one little thing to your day to get some more movement.
Here are some suggestions to get you started:
~ Park further away from the entrance to your work.
~ On a daily basis, take 1 flight of stairs and catch the lift the rest of the way. Increase the amount of stairs when and if it feels comfortable for you.
~ When you talk on the phone, walk around rather than sitting still
