This week, recognize the value to your health of social connections and relationships.
Seek to foster just one relationship, particularly one that may have lapsed. Alternatively, try to foster some new relationships.
Here are just a few ideas to add more social connectedness to your life:
• Plan to eat a meal with family or friends at least once a week
• Plan a monthly game night with college buddies
• Join a community group or religious organization
• Volunteer for a local nonprofit
• Get a pet
