You believe in loving your body, and have gotten to the point where you really see the beauty in bodies of all shapes and sizes. And yet, when it comes to your own body, you get stuck. You know you should love your body, but you’re not quite there yet.
Fat acceptance folks often talk about having been through this cognitive dissonance phase. Intellectually, you know your body is worthy of love, and yet, that lingering negative voice that’s been with you longer than you can remember is still telling you it’s not possible.
