When you are out and about, do you take in everything that is around you? Do you hear the birds chirping, hear cars whizzing by? Can you smell scrumptious aromas wafting from peoples homes as you pass by on your morning walks? What a joy to know that you’re living and taking it all in with the use of your senses.
This week, when you are out and about, try using all of your senses. For example, when you want to take a break from your walk, sit on a park bench, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you. Try to count five distinct sounds you hear.
Isolate each of your senses (safely, now! not when walking down a crowded city street) and see what you can notice about your environment. Let this experience translate into a greater joy surrounding your body movement experience.
