This week, I would like to get you thinking about your commitments and your commitment-making process.  Are you committed to the things you’ve chosen to do in your life?

Take a step back, and look at your life.  Are you creating more stress by committing yourself to this or that and then not following through or procrastinating on your commitments.

This week, make a conscious effort to stick to all of your commitments. If you have committed to meeting up with a friend, don’t cancel. Doctor’s appointment? See it through. 

As for invitations that you may be procrastinating on, take a step back and ask yourself, do I want to do this? Am I going to enjoy it (may not apply to doctor’s appointments, but consider a question like, “Will I be better off having gone?”?  Either way, make a commitment and stick to it.  “Yes, I am going,” or “No, I am not.” 

Remove stress by making decisions and committing to your commitments so that you can move on to other more productive matters.  The key word is COMMITMENT. 

Whatever you commit yourself to doing or not to doing, know that nobody makes your decisions but you.
