This week, simply become more aware of your breathing.
When you are sitting in traffic or watching TV, bring your attention to your breath. Notice the inhale and exhale and take ten long, slow, deep breaths (but don’t force the breath). This is also a great calming technique when you are under a lot of stress.
Throughout the week, even when you don’t have ten deep breaths in you, bring your attention to your breath whenever you can. Simply noticing the breath will immediately bring you back to center.
To learn about some other incredible benefits you could be reaping from the simple fact that you’re breathing all the time, check out our guest post on this week’s Fitness For All blog.
