This week, think about foods that have Omega 3 fatty acids in them so that, when you are thinking about what to eat when listening to your body’s intuitive needs, you can consider these foods.
Then, try to incorporate 1 or 2 different sources of Omega 3s into your diet. It’s best to get one small serving of Omega 3s daily, but this is about learning to enjoy foods that have this important nutritional source in them so starting small is just fine. If you get one serving in this week, try two next week.
Here are some foods to get you thinking about what to incorporate:
• Soybean oil
• Canola oil
• Flaxseed
• Walnuts
• Some green vegetables such as kale, spinach and salad greens
• Fatty fish
• Salmon
• Scallops
• Cauliflower
• Cabbage
• Cloves
• Mustard seeds
• Collard Greens
• Brussels sprouts
Now learn why Omega 3 fatty acids are good for your body and the benefits they can have in Feed Your Life.
