The emotional hiccups we get from our day to day lives can hinder optimal health by allowing those problems to prevent us from keeping to our routines or moving our bodies.
When you have a problem or you’re upset, don’t try to avoid it, or get frustrated with your feelings, but most certainly do not let it drag you down. Accept that a problem exists and seek a solution. But do not dwell.
This week, use body movement to help you resolve your problems. Many of us think better and more constructively when we are moving our bodies - in simple fact, blood is pumping to the brain faster and endorphins are flowing. So, when you find yourself having problems with no apparent resolutions or you are feeling down about something, go move your body. Take a walk, ride a bike, go swimming or do whatever you enjoy.
Let this time spent moving bring you to a constructive solution to your problem or let your endorphins jog you out of your saddened state.
