Never let any BODILY discomfort get in the way of your enjoyment of your body or your health.
When we let any bodily discomfort stay with us unaddressed, it affects us in more than one way:
1. The pain itself, which is not nice (for most)
2. Emotionally you are not at 100% because of this pain
3. Pain makes us want to move our bodies less because when we get the blood pumping around the body it can elevate the pain which then causes more discomfort - thus, motion is hindered.
So, this week, if you’ve been putting off getting a particular pain addressed by a doctor or health care professional, please make an appointment to get looked at. Likewise, make a conscious decision to have future pains checked out as well. This will help you ensure optimal health.
