Shipping Policies

In order to assess appropriate shipping charges, we have instituted this equitable set of Total Order Amount ranges, each with an associated shipping rate. This is based on your subtotal and does not include the shipping charge itself or any applicable taxes.

Shipping Charges in Addition to Those Specified

Some items are specialty items that are either incredibly heavy or incredibly large, and these items may require additional shipping charges; sometimes these charges may apply when the shipper is required to use a liftgate or another special means of delivery. If such charges apply, they will be specified under a products’ Shipping Details, and you will be asked to acknowledge the charge before moving onto the check-out page. This charge will be in addition to the standard rate listed in the chart above.

On occasion, certain products, like power chairs or scooters, will come with an additional shipping option like White Glove Set-up. On the product page, before putting this product into your shopping cart, you may have the option of selecting White Glove Set-up which will add a nominal charge before the above shipping rate is added to the item in your shopping cart. This charge, however, is optional, and you may decide to just pay the standard shipping cost and set the item up yourself.

Because we cannot offer upgraded shipping on every product, but do like to make faster shipping available when possible, certain products come with Options that allow the voluntary selection of upgraded shipping, whether overnight or 2-3 day. If you choose these options but need to return your product for any reason, we regret that these optional shipping upgrade charges are nonrefundable. Though they may not appear with your regular Shipping & HandlIng charges, they will be added to them and deducted should your order need refunding.

Calculating Your Shipping

To determine the exact shipping charge before checking out, add items to your shopping cart, view your cart, and enter your zip code into the Calculate Shipping box at the bottom of the cart screen. The appropriate shipping rate will be assessed. If you have the option of selecting Free Shipping due to some discount code or deal, you may always select it, regardless of any other shipping charges you may have accepted on the product page. This feature is for your convenience and you must select your desired shipping option again during check out.

Shipping Supplies and Packaging

We believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect our environment and the resources it offers us. As a result, all of our packing peanuts are recycled and recyclable. In addition, you may find that certain items, particularly larger ones, are shipped with materials that we have recycled. We appreciate your understanding of these practices, and ask that you join us in the reuse of shipping materials and supplies. Should you need to return your order, please try to do so in the box that it arrived in, pending the box is in an acceptable condition to make it through the mail again. This will not only save you money, but it will protect the environment by reusing valuable resources. Please ensure that you dispose of all packaging materials safely, and reuse whatever you can for other purposes. Together, we can make a difference.

Shipping Refunds and Return Shipping

No shipping refunds will be given after Shipping and Handling have already been paid. 

If Free Shipping was an option and you do not select it before completing your purchase, shipping charges will not be refunded. We reserve the right to assess the situation on a case by case basis.

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. Because returns must be sent to a P.O. Box, the United States Postal Service must be used. We regret that we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us or for items sent by private carrier and left at a holding facility.

Shipping Methods

We ship in two ways. The first method is drop-shipping, which means that the product ships directly from the manufacturer; this is necessary for many larger and custom items. We also ship from our warehouse. 

We generally ship by United States Postal Service ground or Priority shipping. We reserve the right to ship by a private carrier when necessary. If you have special shipping needs, please indicate those on your order or by contacting us.

We reserve the right to ship items separately if some items will be available sooner. 

Shipping Times

Your product should arrive in 6-10 business days, unless otherwise specified on a product’s page. Many larger items and custom items take longer to ship. In cases where more than 10 business days are necessary for shipping, that will be specified in Shipping Details. If a delay occurs that we did not anticipate then we will contact you as soon as we are aware of an issue to discuss available options.

Delivery may not occur on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. On major holidays, shipping may be delayed.

Expedited Delivery

In certain instances, items may be available for expedited shipping. If the option is already available, it will not appear at checkout but rather, will be a per-item option on the product pages. If you require or would like something expedited, please Contact Us and we will respond promptly to let you know if this is possible.

These optional shipping upgrade charges cannot be refunded, and will be added to the cost of Shipping & Handling in the event of a return.

International Shipping

We ship internationally only to certain countries. Please review our list below to see if we ship to your country. Please accept our apologies if we are not currently able to ship to your country. Please note that international shipping charges and time in transit differ from domestic charges and time in transit. In addition, we cannot speculate about whether or not you will be charged import taxes on your order; that is a factor that varies country to country.

We regret that we can only make exchanges on international purchases if the customer provides the necessary funds to reship the exchanged item. This can be done through a Paypal money request. Simply inform us of your intent to exchange your purchase and we will send you a Paypal request for the necessary amount.
