Okay, I’m going to talk about one of my dark secrets.

I used Alli/Orlistat.  It’s was the worst decision of my life.  I was constantly having oily “accidents” so I had to bring spare panties EVERYWHERE!  I was at a Chinese restaurant with my ex-boyfriend who was visiting me after a a conference… when BAM!  Oily accident!  I excused myself from the table, much to my ex-bf bewilderment… and ran to the bathroom, stuffed my underwear with toilet paper…and tried to resume the dinner.  But the dinner was ruined.  I felt awkward and worried about odors and such.

Send me a private message if you want to know about more orlistat.  I used it for half a year.  There are some benefits… i suppose. but the tradeoff is uncontrolled oil discharge.  Never again.

That sounds like a terrible experience, SarahT. I’m so sorry that happened to you but I’m glad you feel comfortable speaking about it so that others of us don’t think that turning to diet pills is a good idea. I may not be totally comfortable with some of this “okay to be fat” stuff yet, but I’m getting there, and stories like yours remind me that there are worse things than being a big dude.

Glad you’re not going to try again. I hope you’re feeling better about yourself since you stopped taking it.
