Imagine there’s no Fat Hate
every body’s fine
No hateful comments
none of us do cry
Imagine all the people
loving everyone

Imagine all the doctors
Being fair and true
No greedy agendas
All they see is You
Imagine all the patients
getting what they need

You may say I’m a dreamer
But you all know the truth
I hope someday the world get’s “it”
And Health with be number one

Imagine no Fat Hatred
I wonder if we can
No need to shame children
to think that they are bad
Imagine all the bodies
Sharing all the World

You may think we are dreamers
But we’re not the only ones
I hope someday everyone gets it
And we all can live as one.

Fat Haikus

I love the haiku and wrote a few today. Thought I’d share. Criticism welcome.

Everything ‘bout me
Is super tumblin’ delish
Wanna take a bite?

Round, Plump, Soft, Fleshy
Chunky, Portly, Pudgy, Big
Euphemisms - Fat!

I will nurture you
My beauty is mother’s love
Enjoy my warm glow

Don’t tell me I can’t
I’m a powerful woman
I do as I please

Tinkle Tinkle Little Star

I said at the beginning of the meeting of the Fat Poets’ Society, half joking, that I wanted to discover the fat women inside of me. When I finished this poem, someone gasped, “You are a fat woman!”

Sitting still my body wants me to get up
One reason mostly
The bathroom
I have to pee.
I always have to pee.
Getting up and moving towards the bathroom is so wonderful to me
Because I always have to pee.
Swollen prostate? everyone asks
No - swollen bladder
Skipping, dancing, sprinting, hopping
I move towards the door with no delay, hesitation, or distractions
I move straight towards the bathroom where I feel the tile hard beneath my feet
Reminding me how close I am to relief.
I’m so glad I moved to the bathroom.
