Word of the Week

Desire

Definition: a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen

Consider this...

What do you desire?

Somehow that sounds more sensual than, “What do you want?” What do you want could be “Wadya want?” spat from the dirty mouth of a bar-tender in the seedy part of town.

What do you desire, though.

Now that’s the question of someone who wants to know how they can serve you - what they can do to truly make your life better.

So, this week, as the number one person in your life in a position to give you your desires, don’t think about what you want. Think about what you desire. Ask yourself. What would make you roll around with your eyes squeezed closed nearly squealing with delight?

Can I give you that thing? No, probably not. But you probably can. And, I can guarantee that when you know what you desire, it’s a lot easier to get that thing. How can you make strides to get something you don’t even know you want, after all?

So, know what your desires are. That’s the first step to obtaining them.

Don’t be afraid to wish big.
