Ladies and gentlemen: it’s time to get active. I’m a big gal - over 250 pounds and sportin’ it. Though I’m big on the sportin’, I’m not so much into the sports.  However, that doesn’t stop me from knowing that my body - despite chaffing, aches, pains, and soreness - wants me to move around some. It doesn’t need me to be good at that moving around. It just wants me to do it. I’d be willing to bet yours wants the same. It really doesn’t matter what your size: movement is good for everybody.

In this latest installment of my video series, Kim Weighs In, you’ll get to watch me on the tennis court - no laughing! - and I’ll even share some of my secrets for keeping activities manageable and enjoyable. I had such a great time making this video, and I definitely didn’t think that tennis was going to be my idea of a good time. I hope you enjoy it, too!

If you want more ideas for how to be active without participating in competitive sports and some inspiration for doing them, check out this week’s tips. Want to get some of the cool activewear that Kim was talking about? Check it out now at Junonia.

There are few boundaries to the kinds of material you'll find here, so long as it has to do with the wide and wonderful world of fat. Whether issues in science, health, fat politics, the fat community, information on More of Me to Love or musings on the cruisings of the fat lane, this is a place for shifting gears.
