Hi and a big warm welcome to you all.
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. I’m Sue Bary, Principal Health Coach for enarji Personal/Group Training, and I am really looking forward to gaining new friends and gathering new ideas from this very supportive network of people.
Secondly, I would like to say a big thank you to Jay Solomon for giving me this fabulous opportunity to join such a necessary and desired community hub for similarly minded individuals.
I know the more of us that get the word out there about how to live a holistically enriched lifestyle without the stigma of you-must-lose-weight, you-have-to-go-on-a-diet mentality the better off we all will be.
A Little Bit About Me
I have always been involved in some kind of sport activity to some degree, as physical activity makes me feel so good. That’s why I do it - not because somebody tells me I need to lose weight.
Annoyingly, however, through my adult life as it’s pertained to fitness, I have always been classed, as the term goes, ”Mildly Obese.” Got to love that, right? Just has this certain ring to it.
Over time I thought I might be able to shake the term “Mildly Obese” if I got myself a Personal Trainer - which I did. But still, partially because I was gaining more muscle mass, I was termed Mildly Obese. However, whilst I was with my Personal Trainer, it got me thinking: what a wonderful thing to be doing: helping people achieve their goals (not necessarily shirking ridiculous terminology but enjoying the benefits of body movement).
After thinking about the possibility of becoming a Personal Trainer myself, I decided that I didn’t want to be your stock stand Trainer and have to tell my clients “You get down and give me 50 push ups…NOW!!!” It’s just not me.
I wanted to help people who have probably never ever put on a pair of exercising shoes, who have never gotten off the couch to move their bodies, who think gyms are evil, who are scared of what they look like if they exercise or what they would look like just by wearing clothing that remotely had anything to do with the word exercise.
From all of my research on how to help people move their bodies, I obtained my Personal Trainer Certification and become a Health At Every Size Advocate. Since completing my studies, I have been extremely fortunate in my ability to assist people with their health in ways that they never thought possible.
Now, as a part of More of Me to Love, I can share all of my knowledge about how to get your body moving for fun with this wonderful community.
Every BODY is beautiful, and moving our bodies should be a thing of pleasure and joy. I look forward to sharing my expert holistic health and fitness knowledge along with tips that won’t make you feel ridiculed in order to bring this joy to your life.
Please feel free to introduce yourself to me as well, and let me know if there’s anything I could do to make your movement more pleasurable.
For now, try out my first tip and see how it works for you.
