Last week we showed that polka dots are beautiful, no matter what size you wear.

Prior to polka dots we had white and stripes that look lovely on plus size women, too.

And today, it’s time for plaid: some say that plus size women shouldn’t wear it. It’s time to prove that idea wrong.

Plaid on the catwalk

Two recent plus size fashion events had plaid on the collections presented or their fashion shows.

At the Curvy Revolution the brands Sonsi and Bettie Page Clothing rocked some plaid pieces on the catwalk.

Fatshion Bloggers and Superstars Love Plaid, Too!

Juliana Ricci from HVAPS and Becky from Une Moda wearing plaid in two differente versions: shirts (a classic) and dresses. Check them out!

The lovely Lilli Hingee from Frocks and Frou Frou that has been featured here for quite some time now, also love plaid, especially when it comes to skirts.

Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson, singers, both on the program American Idol wearing beautiful plaid skirts and jeans: a timeless combination!

Jordin Sparks and the plus size supermodel Fluvia Lacerda on versions of black and white plaid dresses that are extremely elegant.

Me, wearing plaid in one of my favorite colors: purple. The same shirt on two different possibilities: with black mini skirt, tights and flat peep toes and also a version with black pants and boots.

Plaid in Lingerie and Swimwear

Lane Bryant has some options with plaid lingerie.

At the Fashion Weekend Plus Size the lingerie brand Signorelli presented a beautiful winter collection in plaid, animal print and flowers and the colors brown and light pink. Simply gorgeous!
