August 2010 was a month in which two important awards took place: The Teen Choice Awards, on August 9th and The Emmy Awards, on August 29th. 

I usually like to watch award ceremonies for two (equally important) reasons: to see who won and to check on the clothes. As I was saying last week, since inspiration has no size, I love to acquire ideas by watching the gorgeous outfits worn by all kinds of celebrities on the red carpet, even if they don’t have a size (or body type) like mine. After all, it’s all about adaptation!

But recently, there are more and more curvy actresses on the red carpet, and I don’t have to get too creative to imagine myself wearing one of their fabulous dresses, hairdos and makeup.

So, today let’s take some time to admire beautiful curvy women rocking the red carpet!

Each day it seems there is more room for diversity in television and movies. Although these minor reflections are not even close to reality yet, they do represent a concrete change. Let’s hope we can always see beautiful and diverse women on every red carpet.
